Privacy notice
Sense Shift Advisory reads whether an organisation can absorb the change it has committed to. Doing that well requires evidence about people, so how that evidence is handled matters more here than it would for most advisory firms. This notice sets it out plainly.

This website
This site sets no cookies, uses no advertising or tracking pixels, and does not build a profile of visitors. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
Nothing on this site asks you to register, and no page stores what you have read or which cases you opened.
Typefaces are served by Google Fonts, which receives your IP address in order to deliver them. That is the only third party this site contacts.
Our hosting provider keeps standard access logs, including IP address, for security and to keep the site running. We do not use them for analysis and they are not linked to anything else.
Should we add analytics, it will be a cookieless product that does not track individuals across sites, and this notice will be updated before it goes live.
If you write to us
Emailing hello@senseshiftadvisory.com gives us your address, your name and whatever you choose to tell us. We use it to reply and to keep a record of the conversation. We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not sell or share it, and we do not use it for anything you did not ask for. Ask us to delete it and we will, within thirty days.
If you become a client
Two of the six diagnostics cannot run from documents. They need interviews and workforce data, which means personal data enters the engagement. These terms are the same ones written into every engagement contract.
Interview time with between five and twelve leaders, a nomination exercise across fifteen to twenty five named individuals, engagement or pulse survey data segmented by team, attrition data, and the programme documentation.
We do not assess, rate, rank or report on any individual. No interview material is attributed to a named person in any report. The read is about the organisation, never about a person in it.
Only the people running the read. It is not shared with any third party, not used for any other engagement, and not disclosed to anyone in the client organisation beyond the report itself.
Personal data gathered for a read is deleted within ninety days of the verdict being delivered. Where a re-read is contracted, the retention period runs from the re-read instead.
Performance of a contract with the client organisation, and our legitimate interest in delivering an evidenced verdict. Where consent is the appropriate basis, for example a voluntary nomination exercise, participation is voluntary and refusing carries no consequence.
The benchmark
Every read contributes a structured record to a benchmark that compounds over time. This is the only thing that survives the ninety day deletion, and it is deliberately stripped of anything identifying.
Sector, programme value band, number of populations exposed, count of parallel change demands, the origin of the fixed date, the verdict issued, the release condition, and later whether that condition closed.
No client name, no individual name, no job title, no free text from an interview, no survey response, and no figure precise enough to identify an organisation.
So that base rates can be published which nobody in this market currently has, and so that our own accuracy can be measured against a record rather than asserted.
Your rights
You may ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, ask us to restrict what we do with it, object to us processing it, or ask for a copy in a portable form. Write to hello@senseshiftadvisory.com. There is no charge, and refusing to exercise a right is never a condition of anything.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled a request, you may complain to the data protection authority in your country. In the United Kingdom that is the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Within the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area where possible. Where a provider processes data elsewhere, appropriate safeguards are in place and we will name the provider on request.
Material changes are dated at the top of this page. We do not remove previous versions, and we will not quietly widen what we collect.
